Rules for 2013

1) This is a free to enter friendly fun place to just have a poke around and have fun with parkrun. It does contain a number of leagues and I wouldn’t want someone to come along at the end of the year, join the 2013 league and win it, so to be in the league you need to let parkrunYL@gmail.com know before March 1st 2013. You need to let me know:
a. Your parkrun registered name
b. Your unique parkrun number so I can search for you.
Eg. Mark Gadie (A82127)

2) You must notify parkrunYL@gmail.com know of any parkruns completed you want adding to the leagues. Included must be,
a. Your name
b. parkrun course name
c. official time given by parkrun
d. official Age Grade/WAVA given by parkrun

3) Freedom runs do not count.

4) Only official data from parkrun should be submitted, if you watch said a faster time to the parkrun time, unfortunately it tough cheddar, although:
a. If parkrun make a mistake and credit you with a faster time then you actually run, then please don’t ask me to put this time into the league, you can always tell me a slower time and slower (lower) WAVA. I think this is fair and will cover the league if a parkrun have a nightmare with the barcodes anytime. The onus will be on the person to come forward though, I will not ask the question

5) For the overall time league a place marker of 59 minutes will be entered for each runner, which hopefully will be bettered during 2013.

6) For the WAVA league a place marker of 0 % will be entered for each runner, which hopefully will be bettered during 2013.

7) For the unique parkruns league the scoring will be as follows:
a. 1 point for each unique parkrun in England
b. 2 points for each parkrun in Wales or Scotland.
c. 3 points for each unique parkrun off the mainland. This would include Medina Isle of White and Ireland/Northern Island.

8) Only the 8 courses listed will count to the Overall Time and WAVA/Age Grade League

9) I reserve the right to amend and update the rules as necessary during 2013. I will only act in fairness though and if others disagree let me know.
